11th month of weed paws

Postby just_PAWS_ » Tue Dec 14, 2021 12:36 pm

Hi all,
just wanted to ask if there's a some sort of timeline when stress sensitivity gets better? Ive done swimming, eating healthy and trying to socialize. Still even a few hours of pc gaming or swimming too fast (lol) can swipe my sleep away complete and I have to rely on sleep meds :( I know it from my resting pulse when it stucks about 10 beats higher. It's so weird. I think my nervous system is back on flight or fight state when this happens. It's so frustrating when you can't put your 100% on anything. I sleep a bit longer now with meds and sometimes I manage to sleep naturally. Severe insomnia has been constant all this time but after 10th month I began to cope with that sh** a bit better. Hope this nightmare ends in some point. Keep going strong ppl!

11 months?? Oh dear God, at 3.5 months sometimes reading these anecdotes makes me regret even quitting! I have the exact same problem, elevated heart rate and sleep is awful after the first few hours of deep sleep with major rem rebound that cripples my next day. Any kind of activity seems to mess with my sleep including long walks. All my body and brain want to do is rest, which is impossible for me to do because I can’t even sleep.

My heart feels like it’s in sympathetic drive too. I think it’s just a major low dopamine state but 11 months? Damn.

My best advise is to not take the sleep meds. That could be setting you back or slowing down your recovery.

Some times hearth rate coherence meditation helps. Just search from youtube some simple method. Mirtazapine works like antihistamines and according to studies it may even help with sleep. Eating meds for off-label use is still weird for me. Yea, now that my stength has come a bit back I could try with only pure determination again :)

For sure, many people state they have very positive effects from meditation. Overall I feel like time is the only thing that helps. 3.5 months later I’m still feeling high/stoned.

I still felt high/stoned, dizzy, and massive brain fog when I was where you are now biohack. It absolutely gets better. 8 months was a MAJOR turning point for that for me. As for sleep and anxiety- meditation made a huge difference for me. I still try to meditate at least once a day, sometimes twice. It’s hard because I have ADD, but I just do the best I can and it helps. Also- for me, magnesium and chamomile tea help my sleep problems a lot. The heart rate and racing pulse also get better with time. I hope both of you feel better soon!

I really appreciate your kind sentiments and sharing your experience! I really look forward to being where you are at now! As of this day, I am officially in uncharted territory from the past decade and a half! Also no caffeine alcohol or nicotine. I know it’s the right path. Cheers and thanks!
