Stress can trigger it for sure. I have severe insomnia from weed soon 10th month. I might get sleepless nights by just a stressfull phone call or few hours gaming with pc. Its insane.

Have you tried 4-7-8-breathing? It should relax quite well. I used 4-4-4-4 box breathing method when I got some sleep before the supplement **** up. It worked pretty good when I woke up in the middle of the night. Transition back to sleep was quite fast.
