Re: 7 months of weed PAWS

Yeah 3.5 months was my record (2 years ago) and now i'm 2 months more than that, and will go likely another month or three, we'll see. And that's in the past 15 years (although I had a few 3 month or so breaks in there too), but everything always got way better when I returned to it. This time aroun...

Re: 7 months of weed PAWS

Yeah you totally get it now. I never had anxiety or depression and functioned better than ever before I quit, but I also had a very high tolerance and this constant background steady state buzz. I accomplished things that a lot of non smokers wouldn't even dream of being able to do. I agree that i'm...

Re: 7 months of weed PAWS

I'm actually in my late 40's and have had high test all of my life although with the horrible sleep quality i'm having and body composition/appetite issues it wouldn't surprise me if all of my hormones are out of whack now. This all started when I quit 5.5 months ago, and if you look at my posts fro...

Re: 7 months of weed PAWS

I wanted to quit because I haven't been without weed for more than 3.5 months in the past 15 years, so full sobriety is just something I wanted to try. I also had some side effects, like night sweats but that was likely due to overdoing it and never taking a break from morning until night. I have pl...

Re: 7 months of weed PAWS

Yeah same, I eat my dopamine now and train way less as my tolerance to exercise is minimal these days and hasn't really improved much in the time since I quit 5.5 months ago. I actually never smoked, only vaped extracts, and loved to take some hits before my workout. It made me focus and workout lik...

Re: 7 months of weed PAWS

How are you doing now? Your post sounds a lot like my experience. I quit September 14, 2021 after getting high for 20 years. I’m 35. Just a couple of months in I got appendicitis and then a few weeks later, shingles. I had nausea and stomach pains daily for 4 months. I actually didn’t get any panic...

Re: PAWS ?

Hey Elpino sounds like you're progressing and congrats on 5 months. The weird dreams are really something else but great to hear that your sleep quality is improving. I have all those intrusive thoughts as well at 4 months and they should lesson as time marches on and hoping for a turnaround at mont...

Re: 24 months - PAWS - FLATLINE

"I have had bladder problems for 24 months now." Is it just the frequent urination or do you experience any other related symptoms? Damn 24 months is a long time for this, but like other paws symptoms it doesn't really surprise me considering the slow recovery of the nervous system. I've ...

Re: 24 months - PAWS - FLATLINE

@derjogge @experiment1996 Just ignore the forum troll/village idiot(s). He's so out to lunch that he's comparing someone in active addiction paws and religious folks practicing abstinence. I'm just over 4 months in and have this urination issue at night, wakes me up every few hours. It's common in p...

Re: 28 months along

How does the average user benefit from understanding brain chemistry in managing their day to day feelings? What benefit does it provide in coping with their anxiety? You come on here and spout your knowledge but offer little in terms of practical advice other than give it time, maybe 1,2,3 years w...

Re: 28 months along

You volunteer?? It's a public forum. As for dopamine. Of course it exists, but the psychological aspects of this PAWS syndrome are heavily anxiety related.... the worry about brain damage, never getting better, panic attacks etc can be managed better with anxiety management rather than seeking info...

I don't need to work, I volunteer here trying to explain dopamine to the clueless. Or do you deny that dopamine even exists like paws? lol

Re: Is there light at the end of the tunnel? - Weed PAWS

Is it maybe possible to suffer from anxiety and/or have anxiety symptoms without actually being aware of it? I'd say it's PAWS for sure. Read Biohack's extensive research on the matter. It may be extensive research to the clueless that don't understand basic neurochemistry or know how to do a basic...

Re: 28 months along

If you are too stupid to even research what chronic long term regular high thc weed/concentrates do to your neurotransmitters and hormones, HPA, and endocannabinoid system and how it can take extremely long to recover then you simply cannot be helped and we are going in circles (again). This is why ...
