Re: 1 year PAWS - It's been a year since I quit

What a great update post! Thank you for taking the time to update us. It’s so great that you’re seeing so much improvement, and it’s great that you are able to get through the rough days with a different perspective. Very inspiring for so many of us. I’m 13 months along now and struggling mightily a...

Re: 13 Month Breakdown

I can relate to what you both have written. I just passed 13 months on the 19th and I have been in a very very bad wave. I thought I was through the worst of this (see my post in December) but then it hit me again almost as bad as in the beginning. My symptoms that hit again: dizziness, body pain, b...

Re: When did the derealization/ dissociation go away for you

I had this constantly at first with the brain fog and dizziness - it got significantly better around 8 months for me personally. Congratulations on your 6 months! That’s a huge accomplishment and it’s awesome! You will feel better and better as time goes on.

Re: Recovery stories

I think this thread is a great idea. It will be very helpful for anyone who needs help and encouragement in their PAWS journey. I hope more people will add to it because I love reading stories of recovery. My post is going to be very, very long, so I apologize in advance for that. But it is my hope ...

Re: Dissociation or high feeling from weed paws

When I was 5 months in I felt exactly what you described-feeling high/dissociation/brain fog and dizziness. It’s very scary. 5 months was still absolutely brutal hell for me and some other people have posted that 5 months was still awful for them. For me it began to go away around 8 months. Hang in ...

Re: Extreme Physical PAWS! (All Symptoms)

@Longduck- thanks for the link. I will definitely use the video. I get it with respect to what happened when you went to Costco. That happens to me in certain places now. Sometimes it seems like a sensory overload for me- lights, noises, lots of people, smells in the store, then traffic on the way t...

Re: Extreme Physical PAWS! (All Symptoms)

Hey Longduck! I was wondering how you’ve been. Excellent post with great insight. The manifestation chants for health sound like something I would like. I looked on YouTube and found a few, but would you happen to be able to post a link to your favorite(s)? You seem to be doing so much better now th...

Re: Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome (PAWS)

You are very welcome and I am so glad I was able to be helpful! I know exactly what you mean about it being scary and disheartening when you have a few rough days- that still happens to me and it definitely plays with your mind. And yes, this forum is so important and helpful and it has helped me so...

Re: 11th month of weed paws

I still felt high/stoned, dizzy, and massive brain fog when I was where you are now biohack. It absolutely gets better. 8 months was a MAJOR turning point for that for me. As for sleep and anxiety- meditation made a huge difference for me. I still try to meditate at least once a day, sometimes twice...

Re: Nerve twitching/tingling

Thank you for your post and for the information, biohack. I can’t stop caffeine cold turkey, but my goal is to stop by January 1st for the new year. Dang it’s so hard to stop when it helps you get so much done- my work is so busy this time of year and I fell into the trap of drinking more caffeine t...

Re: Nerve twitching/tingling

Yes Fruitytooty I have had exactly what you described. The internal tremors (almost like electricity running through my body) and twitches are still happening to me at 11 months in. They are better a lot of the time, but I do have anxiety and have started drinking more caffeine lately and both of th...
