Anxiety Problem

Postby Feidhlim » Thu Apr 26, 2018 7:09 am

I've realized that every time I'm dry I have a hanquering want to smoke more cigarettes. But when I got weeds for example bonzaseeds,com/blog/amnesia/, it's literally the exact opposite effect, basically.
Has anyone else had this type of experience? Or even researched this topic? I have heard about people actually quitting by substituting it w/ bud. Interesting to me.
I've been having trouble myself trying to quit smoking cigars. I tried searching for other alternatives like vaping but after a month I came back to cigarettes. I was so desperate to quit and avoid nicotine but then I came across this article that says marijuana can help you quit smoking cigarettes and turns out, CBD can help after all.CBD can remove positively associated smoking memories from the brain, making it easier for the user to quit altogether. Can someone give me more information or any tips? Thanks

Doesn't sound like a good idea to exchange a legal addiction for an illegal one. Perhaps you live in a place where marijuana is legal?

You can keep switching out addictions for the rest of your life but I'd imagine your goal would be to manage the underlying issues that caused the addiction in the first place.

Have you ever tried getting support in person for this? Even a nicotine anonymous meeting.

Replacing one bad habit with another is never a good idea. Cigarette smoking is a well-established risk factor for high blood pressure and poor cardiovascular health, but marijuana use may be even more harmful according to the new study from Barbara A. Yankey, of the School of Public Health at Georgia State University in Atlanta, and her team recently reported their results in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology.
