Problem with Change of Beliefs / Affirmations

Postby UglyDude09 » Sat Jan 29, 2022 11:43 pm

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I want help because i'm wasting my whole life, doing anything to solve but i cant.

When young, i was raised to think morally right and to accept anything in front of me. A pretty mediocre life.

After, i grew up and people/family pushed me to be successful so i found on internet a way to succeed. It was a change of beliefs where you do affirmations so your mind will reconstruct to be more capable. I did it.

Now, It's really hard go outside because people on street look different at me and tend to walk away, spit to the ground, etc.

I cant go to mall/grocery without feeling uncomfortable, imagine getting a job. Still living with parents/brothers, when i dont want to go to a place because it's hard they go for me instead. Even when i'm on home, still feel i make everyone around uncomfortable.

If you can help, you are saving a life. Im 24.

I doubt that you will believe me, but I’ll go ahead and share a bit of worldly wisdom with you. NO ONE gives a cr@p about you.

I don’t mean immediate family. I mean people in general. Everyone is wrapped up in their own lives. They don’t give a damn what you look like or how you behave.

Young people, especially teenagers get so wrapped up mentally believing everyone is watching. They get nervous because they think people are focused on them and will notice if they do anything “weird”. It is unfortunate because many young people waste so much time concerned about what others think when the reality is no one cares.

The sooner you learn, the the sooner you can move on with life. To learn, consider looking into exposure therapy or some form of cognitive behavioral therapy. This can help you to learn faster, so you are not wasting years hiding at home.
