SUCCESS STORIES for our BOOK on PAWS

#15

Postby olskoolru » Sun Dec 27, 2020 10:35 pm

I went through a horrific PAWS period in which I was suicidal. Worst I’ve ever felt in my life. I’m now about 6-7 years recovered and have never felt better. I take Nortriptyline for the constant tension headaches that emerged after quitting marijuana. I have no more headaches and am more successful career-wise and than I could’ve ever been when lugging around my weed addiction.

If you’d like to review my full story, their documented in great detail in this forum.

Good luck with your book.

Sorry but I don't remember the particular posts but if you search for HDog455 using the forum search facility you'll find that a lot of my content deals with the fact that I didn't have too much trouble quitting. My early stuff is probably the best place to start looking.

Yoo Tokes,

I have read your story. It is very similar to mine. Would you be able to talk sometime?

My partner and I are looking for more success stories for our new book on Post-Acute Withdrawal Syndrome apparent in many types of substance addictions.

We are finishing up the book and want to end it with a list of success stories of other people to motivate and ensure that recovery is indeed possible!

I am looking forward to reading all your stories and would love to use them in our book!

I'd be happy to share my story if you are still doing this project.
