In my experience (not generic) quitting weed is always been cold turkey, never with the same daily life style cycle & most difficult part is getting through first 2 days. It all depends how badly you want it.
Every time quitting, I took several days off, accepting that I will get hit hard with withdrawals. Change of environment and keeping busy especially during evenings and nights, never trying to sleep unless body forces me to whether its night or day. Not much socializing but being out at comfortable place a lot. in summary, giving quitting importance and planning next few days mitigating symptoms has been important for me as I know I am recovering from a disease. After few days when cloud settles, going back slowly to the daily routine.
Everyone's situation is different but expecting changes doing the same thing may not be a good idea. Hope you plan enough to get through first 2-3 days by any means.
