Re: Realisation- finally

Well done for 2 months! I've had to cut my coffee intake from my daily 3 cups to 1. Makes me really anxious now if I have more than one. Since cutting it down definitely felt a lot less anxious. Probably got to do with it firing up the adrenal gland. Still having the same sort of issue you have with...

Re: Why does quitting feel so bad???

I'm on day 18. I've smoked for around 20 years. The first month is going to be tough but each week you are going to see improvement so don't let your brain tell you that what your feeling is how your going to feel forever. Tips I've used is get to bed early as sleep will be disrupted which leads to ...

Today I hit the 2 week mark. First time in a few years since u have done this. I'm still having good and bad days. The bad days being tired, anxious, lack of motivation to do things and general feeling of being down throughout the day The urge to smoke has disappeared so that's a positive. A lot of ...

Re: My journal in quitting weed after 20 years

Pretty much the same length of time. Similar symptoms to myself. Insomnia and lack of appetite is what gets me as it sets the next day up to be tough.
Push through one day at a time and get to bed early.

Re: Quit date 15/1/22(17:28) journal

Haven't posted in awhile. Relapsed a few times from stress and just not feeling good. However reset on the 4/2/22 so today is my 10th day without using. I find some days I have okay days and some days like today I feel really down, anxious and fatigued. Normally I feel like this when I've had broken...

Re: Quit date 15/1/22(17:28) journal

Day 4 Today feels tough. Weekends I normally use from morning to evening especially Saturdays. Throat feels tickly all the time and last few days have had episodes of shortness of breath. Am carrying on with breathing exercises when these happen. Fatigue seems to have kicked in as well in the mornin...

Re: Quit date 15/1/22(17:28) journal

22/1/22 After an up and down week last week of getting sick I am resetting today and making today day 1. I find that when I have structure in the evening I can get through it but my willpower is weakest at evening. I'm going for 90 days target after which I will stop counting and I'm sure the habit ...

Re: Quit date 15/1/22(17:28) journal

The last few days have followed a similar pattern. In the morning I'm sure that today I will not smoke, have thrown the rizlas away and feeling good. As the evening comes I'm feeling tired down and completely forget the fact that I want to stop smoking. Convinced that I enjoy smoking and need to hav...

Re: Quit date 15/1/22(17:28) journal

Update as of 18/1/22 Caught a cold yesterday and had a really crap day at work. Stressed out and in my weak moment I decided the only way I would feel better is to have a smoke. Cycle continues again and used pretty much all day. Woke up knowing that again I'm back to square one. Rather than giving ...

Re: Quit date 15/1/22(17:28) journal

Yes it's going to be a bit tricky as I smoked normally from around 8-1130 and then eventually fall asleep. Thank you for the message. I'm hoping to get in bed by 10 and get to bed pronto

Re: Quit date 15/1/22(17:28) journal

Hi mate, yeah I use a small amount. Was vaping weed for a year but went back to joints as it just wasn't the same.

Thanks for the support. Day 1 is nearly over and the urge to use normally comes in the evening so just have to ride it out

Quit date 15/1/22(17:28) journal

I've decided to stop weed finally after 20 years of smoking daily. It's consuming my life and I'm not sure how to quit as I've tried so many times with no success. I'm hoping keeping a blog or journal will help and have never posted my experience of quitting in a journal. I will keep this updated on...
