I have never used dosuleptin heard it first from you but it's logical to wait sometime to benefit from any drug I think. In my case remeron prozac lustral paxera all didn't work at all.

Yes I had it years ago when I got PN Depression, it did work well for me. I was put on seratline on 100mg but did not work well for me after 10 months. My doctor did not reliase that I was on Dosulepin and put me back on them. I went back to the doctors last week after 8 weeks on these AD, I told her I did have a few good window days, but, Im still a bit teary, like my mind is weak, if someone says, or text me and say, what are you up to today, I get weepy, sick of it now, making me think its not going to work etc etc. I understand everyone is different, some says, I feel better within 6 or 8 weeks, is this true, I cannot remember how long it took me to get better.

You are lucky if ads work for you at all they have no difference than a sugar pill for me.

I agree with desperate. ADs have never worked for me, either. In fact I was depressed by the fact that I was taking them.

In my experience, depression is anger turned inward. That means if we find the source of our anger, and do something about it, we're more than halfway towards a cure.

And so far two out of two respondents have said no, it doesn't get better over time.

If you keep bumping your thread, I daresay you'll get the answer you want sooner or later.

From my view best ad is prozac though it too didn't work for me.

My positive story is that anytime I have felt down or what might be considered depression, I have found ways to address the issue without the use of chemicals, e.g. exercise.

It is similar to desperate and Candid, in that chemicals are not a good solution, at least for me.

Hope that helps.

Have you explored an alternatives to drugs? CBT, just counseling?
