Little sexual desire. Even for the first time.

Postby starleaf1 » Mon Nov 22, 2021 3:45 pm

I am a 30 y.o. male. My wife and I are newlywed. Neither of us has had sex before.
Unfortunately at this point in my life, I'm not getting a lot of erection and some of the ones that do happen are only partial. The most reliable ones I got are morning woods. And even those don't last long enough.
My sexual desire is also very low compared to when I was younger. Although I still still find things arousing and still masturbate.

I need resources and pointers about where to seek help, and what kind of help to seek.

Do you have intimacy in your relationship, and this doesn't mean physical sex.. do you communicate your needs and desires with each other? Mechanical sex is hard to maintain if the mind never gets considered.

Are you overweight? Are you on prescription medicines? Do you use marijuana or other depressants?

I ask, because it is not common for a healthy 30 y.o. male to experience erectile dysfunction. It points to some underlying health issues that are reducing your blood flow and/or testosterone. Getting a physical by a doctor that specializes in erectile dysfunction might help.
