What does 'biofeedback' entail? It sounds like one must depend upon thousands of dollars worth of complicated equipment to give one some objective verification that One is indeed relaxed. Well, obviously you can't walk around with a Laboratory of Medical Equipment strapped to your back, so one would assume that Biofeedback only TELLS YOU in a Lab Setting when you are Relaxed, and it is UP to You to remember What that Feels Like, and How you were able to Achieve that State of Relaxation... sitting in a nice peaceful and quiet Semi-Medical Office.
Well, if such is the Case, then one can only justify the Cost of enrolling in a "Biofeedback Program" if one seriously has no idea of WHAT it feels like to be Relaxed, and even IF They Did, that they would be Clueless in regards to Knowing How to Get There.
And Besides, THAT does not appear to be the Typical Problem with Angry People... that they Don't Know what Relaxation Is or How to Achieve It, NO... I believe that the PROBLEM is much more Elemental. Chronically Angry People are Drawn toward Anger... they Crave the Excitement... they are Hooked on the Adrenaline Rush that their Rage provides. In such a Case, Being Relaxed is the LAST THING they are actually looking for or think that they Need.
if we can get people to REALIZE that it is a GOOD THING to be Relaxed, and that it is actually a BAD THING to be Angry All the Time, then that Realization In and Of Itself would virtually be a Tantamount to a CURE... of course, given enough Time to Process such a Transformative Realization. But Angry People often don't SEE Their Anger as being a Problem, or they don't appreciate the Extent of their Problem (that is, they believe that only the most Berserk and Violent Anger is Bad, or the Compulsive and Unrelenting THINKING of Anger is Troubling to them), BUT on the General Life Principles that they use to Justify their Anger... they have no Basic Problem with It.... you see, Angry People often don't See their 'Anger' as Anger (not the same way as is obvious to Every One else that has to deal with Them)... they see their 'Anger' as "Fighting the Good Fight, and Standing Up for Themselves.... they Totally Justify all of their Horrible Behaviors under the Cloak of Self-Righteous Indignation.)
But yes, I shall give Biofeedback a try... if I ever should find that I have too much money and time on my hands...
