Do i have to tell my parents every mistake I made?

So almost a year ago I had told my parents about a mistake I made when I was little, After a conversation they told that its normal for kids to make mistakes and I should let go. Now i have this sudden urge to tell them every mistake or problem I have had in the past. When i see my parents ,my mind goes back and I suddenly feel bad and guilty, I want to confess to them, the problem is that i feel this urge to tell them about every single problem, even the most insignificant stuff. Is it okay that I dont want to tell them about every dumb mistake I made as a child?

It sounds like you have no family of your own, no wife, no children, no real responsibilities in your life. It sounds like if you have a job it requires no tough decisions. It sounds like you are living with your parents and pretty much hiding from life.

The reason for the above paragraph is that if your big dilemma in life as a 28 year old is telling your parents about the time you stole change from the cookie jar, it is a great indication that you lack maturity.

The solution is not to ask for permission from strangers about what you should or should not tell your parents. Your solution is to work on your maturity by taking on more responsibility. At 28 you are suppose to be a contributor to society, a leader within the community.

Yes, it does sound like you're not the "head" of your own life, and still entrust that role to your parents. I know it can be difficult to let go,because being your own leader is scary, stressful and demanding, but the positives outnumber the negatives. For example, this wouldn't be bothering you!

yeah i agree. i did some dumb mistakes when i was innocent and i am really trying my best to come out form it
