I'm sorry to hear that.

It sounds you have constantly seeing this story, that you are unimportant and you can't depend on others to help you.

First off you need to know that you are whole and worthy all on your own.

I know this maybe so painful for you to go through alone, but you can do it.

I understand you are feeling a little emotionally unstable but that usually happens when we are going through a major life event as you are.

Recognize your emotions and allow them to rise, and have compassion for yourself as you feel them.

You don't need to hold onto the pain, hurt, anger, and resentment that is coming from not having a support system there for you.

Remind yourself that you are powerful, worthy, whole, and complete. And you are mentally, emotionally, physically strong and stable.

Bless you that's harsh what you have been through and with no support it must be terrible for you.going through hard times on our own makes us feel unworthy of love and like the world has turned it's back on us but you know what..A few months from now you will be better and stronger than ever because you have had to deal with this on your own. Put your feet up and relax, stay strong and know that we are here whenever you need a friend xxx

you are lucky. At least you got some good and kind words. I got sh**. This guy Richard is horrible. I hope he learns something from this that this is A MAJOR LIFE CHANGE FOR WOMEN. And it is of suicidal thoughts many times over. I have to go every 6 months for an examination and it's a degrading embarrassing one at that. And women who can't have children because of this is a damned shame.
And relatives that just ignore you that you are still kicking. When I die, I have my funeral pre planned. NO RELATIVE IS ALLOWED TO VIEW MY BODY

TubesDustyRoxy1 - I had a hysterectomy back in 2010, and I have done a ton of research on the affects of this surgery, and the emotional/mood affects that you are experiencing are a direct result from no longer having the balancing hormones that your body once produced. So much of how our bodies are regulated, and balanced depends so much on the hormones that our body makes.
Removal of our female sex organs causes us to be chemically altered, and this affects our personality big time!!! Hormones truly matter, it also protects our heart, lungs and brain. I am so sorry to tell you this, but when our uterus is removed we now have a 3x greater chance of developing coronary heart disease, and when a woman's ovaries are removed this is considered female castration which increases a women's chance of heart disease by 7x. Mayo clinic, recently did a study that said when a women has a hysterectomy, and especially if she is also castrated (ovaries removed) there is a 140% higher chance of developing alzeimer's disease, because the woman no longer has those protecting, producing hormones, that the uterus and the ovaries produced. Our chances of developing parkinsons disease also goes up. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but in my opinion this surgery should only ever be done in a life threatening situation. It should always be the very last resort! Surgeons should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for doing this to women on such a large scale, and not informing us before hand of what the consequences will be. It is a huge deal!!! There is such a delicate balance to the human body, and we need our sex organs especially for those protective hormones! You didn't state why you had to have this surgery, but for myself it was because of uterine fibroids, and I deeply regret ever having this surgery. I feel butchered, and am very angry that the gynecologist did not inform me of the devastating after effects. I really feel that this surgery can do more harm then good. In my case, I really feel that it did. There were other options that would have gotten rid of my fibroids, without the need for this extreme surgery. I really feel like it altered me, and ruined my life to an extent. There is a great support resource called the HERS (Hysterectomy Education Resource Services) foundation, and you can contact Norah Coffee. She can explain to you what is happening to you physically, and emotionally after this surgery. There is also a great site called Hormones Matter. Just google "Skeletal and Anatomical changes after Hysterectomy" and just make sure that the website says Hormones Matter underneath. I am so sorry that you have gotten no support from your family.....that just makes what you are going through so much harder. I hope that I have been able to help, and sorry to give you so much bad news, but you have a right to know what the affects of this awful surgery actually are. God Bless!!!
