Keeping a stress journal

Postby jonathontwiz » Sun Jun 12, 2016 5:50 pm

Have you ever tried keeping a stress journal? Everytime you feel angry or stressed out, writing down how you feel in a journal will help you relieve the stress and anger that you're feeling. When you look back at the journal, you'll begin to notice a pattern of things that trigger your stress and anger. Try doing this and see if it helps with you're stress and anger management.

Journals about troublesome personal issues, as Therapeutic as they are, well, should be written in Sand, or Smoke -- maybe the swooping trails of a beam of light. But to put these 'Confessions' down on Paper, especially in some fine looking little 'Journal Book'. All of It can be read by others! Even if you live alone. For instance, you get arrested, and Prosecutor tricks your landlord into letting him 'clear' your place, but what the Prosecutor REALLY does is tear the place up until he finds your Anger Journal, and reads about how Sick, Twisted and Dangerous you are. And Everyone has House Guests once in a while. You might get the First House Guest in the History of the World who is a Snoop... and a Gossip. If not all of your friends knew you had an Anger Problem, they would after that.

So, anyway, Anything you WRITE can come back to Bite You.

I would think there is just too much risk versus the possible benefit.

Leo, there are times when you can have your cake and eat it.
I agree with writing an anger journal but what you have advised is also wise. If someone is very angry and writes stuff like "I am going to kill that bastard" then even though he or she has no intention of doing anything like that, they may get bitten if by some unusual circumstance the journal gets read by others. .

One way you can write an anger journal is to write it as a novel. And it is also important that you not only write about the feelings of the main character (who is of course the author of the journal) and their thoughts but also those around them, whom the main character feels annoyed or angry with and any events that have taken place, whether they appear related or not.

You will find, on looking back over your work that those people you feel angry with are often (not always) the offenders. The methods that are used are devious and cunning. In causing a person repeated anger or anger that appears more than what a particular incident warrants, is often part of a foul game that toxic people play.

A concealed threat is used, which means the person becomes energized but doesn't realize it is fear. At the same time an idea is presented, either mentally by a related party or verbally or an issue of injustice or violation is done. The person reacts angrily but as their body is charged up they feel more angry than they would normally be over the matter.

I have made a series of 5 videos here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nxUl19yZU0&list=PL0vGp6lNGae1V9U4CmtAI0qAuxWZ2DzEg to explain how this is done. It is not a simple matter.

And for the benefits you gain...
At least you have a journal and can, over time figure out what is going on and who might be a false friend. The knowledge you gain can help you stand against the enemy and rob them of the pleasure they get from your suffering. And there are very good ways of counter attacking them, which are wholly mental. The battle is fought and won in the mind. Psychic warfare. Have a look at the last illustration on this page here:https://kyrani99.wordpress.com/2012/03/15/solutions-what-you-can-do-to-prevent-heart-problems/ 8)

And you get to do some creative writing, which being a human story, others will find interesting. So you may in the end conquer your anger, deny any toxics their narcissistic supply and publish your story as a book and make money from it. :D

Dear Kyrani,

Wow! what a Great idea. One could hide an Anger Journal in a Rough Draft Outline for a Novel one is 'working on'. It would actually be far BETTER. One can do Narrative Descriptions of ALL of the characters, which would help you see things from not just your own Viewpoint, but the 'Novel' would force one to be Empathetic.

Oh, and your Reply was so well spoken and clever that I checked out the Videos you mentioned. I watched one and a half and will go back for more. But, yes, you have a Lot of Credentials. We here at the Anger Management Forum should feel honored to have you here.

Thank you Leo for your kind words. And I hope you get some value out of my videos. If you can give me some feedback I would very much appreciate it. They are still amateurish and any feedback would be a help.

I think your addition of a Narrative Description of ALL the characters is an excellent idea. Doing a narrative would help one understand the characters better and appreciate one's own reactions within the various relationships and possibly make improvements. But one thing I would say different is that the Novel would force one to be objective and not necessarily empathetic. Humane people often get it wrong and may do something that they later regret and for those people it is right to forgive them and feel empathy but not so for toxic people. Toxic people are named successful or functional psychopaths by the psychiatric profession and there are many neuroscientists, who try to make a case that they are mentally ill based on brain scans, which really say no such thing. The reality is that toxic people are criminals. They are willfully harmful whenever and where ever they can be and for the pleasure of seeing another person suffer.

I found that toxic people are absolutely not to be trusted and never to be considered with empathy because they seek any form of connectivity or link with another person in order to try to do them harm. For example several of the people that are standing against me are using ideas that date back to a time when, not realizing they were enemies, I had helped in some way. They are trying to cause me to see a sympathetic link and then to use that link in many cunning ways to try and harm me. The only reasonable means that i have found in dealing with them is a full on psychic counter attack. The battle is fought and won in the mind.
