5 months update

Postby Fruitytooty8 » Mon Dec 20, 2021 6:40 am

Hi uncommonforum,
It’s been 5 months since I stopped smoking and a lot of my symptoms seem to have resolved! Thanks God.

One persistent symptom which hasn’t seemed to go away is random nerve pains/cold feelings that I feel whenever I’m walking or just at rest.

Has anyone here experienced cold nerve feelings which just suddenly strike your extremities and/or head? Recently I’ve been feeling the nerve pains in my legs and head. However they are only momentary and seem to be random. I believe this is paws because I’ve had this since the beginning, I’m just surprised it hasn’t faded along with other symptoms.

Thanks for any replies

Hi Fruitytooty8,

although I haven't experienced the cold feelings you are describing, there is a thread here called "Your baked brain", which helped me understand my own symptoms a bit better. The discussion there went a little bit off the rails later, but the original post ist still excellent in my opinion. There OP also describes the hot/cold flushes and it is a great reminder that time will resolve this.
Additionally you can try some Wim Hof breathing and/or Vitamin D supplement. Both has helped me a lot.

All the best
