Keys for Recovery

There are a few things I’ve noticed that have helped me on my road to recovery from THC.

1) Maintain a healthy balanced diet. Lots of Omega rich foods like fish and walnuts.
2) Take supplements, like a good multi-vitamin, vitamins C,D, magnesium and GABA.
3) Drink lots of water and refrain from caffeine and alcohol.
4) Try to get lots of quality sleep, maintain a sterile sleep environment, no devices or TVs, even if sleeping is difficult, lay down in a darkened and quiet room, close your eyes, think nice thoughts. Use an analog alarm clock.
5) Focus on the benefits of not using, try to forget about any discomfort, withdrawals and cravings.
6) Practice mindfulness, meditate.
Know that you are not alone in this fight and that you are healing everyday. I hope this helps and others can add what helps them on their own road to recovery.
