Gabapentin for Cannabis Withdrawal Syndrome?

Postby needhelpplease » Mon Aug 23, 2021 10:14 pm

Has anyone have any experience with using gabapentin for cannabis withdrawal syndrome? There are studies that show that it helps quite a bit with physical and mental symptoms of CWS.

Does anyone know how to obtain it? Is it as simple as telling your primary care doctor that you are addicted to marijuana and want to try gabapentin to quit using cannabis? Or do you have to go to a different doctor like a psych MD?

If anyone has any experience with this, I would greatly appreciate a response!

Thank you very much!

I've heard BPC 157 Peptide is also being researched to help with recovery, specifically healing the brain and balancing neuron chemistry...

8th month after quitting weed I've mainly had severe insomnia which has had a huge impact to my life. GABA as a supplement didn't do anything for my insomnia and 5htp made it even worse! After one pill I felt great at day time bu at night t my HR went +100 and I messed up my 5hrs sleep cycle which was pain to get back to begin with. I can only sleep with meds and it scares me. I wouldn't take any supplements which can affect to your serotonin levels. Atleast for me it was a mistake.
