Hi Grovelli
You can spin a feeling by noticing where it starts and where it moves.
eg. sometimes I find myself in situations where I am unexpectedly asked to do something I would normally be nervous about. For me, like many people, the initial 'anxious' feeling starts in the pit of my stomach. I then find it spreads up and towards my chest.
I can then imagine that feeling going out through my chest, down in front of my body and back into the pit of my stomach. Imagine it continuously moving and there's your 'spinning'. You can test if you've identified the right movement/direction because if you imagine it spinning faster you'll feel worse.
Now you've got this far you can have some fun! You can imagine taking the spinning out, flipping it upside down and putting it back in so that it is effectively spinning in the opposite direction. This will immediately reduce the anxiety and the faster you spin the more it reduces.
Some people like to give the original spinning a colour and can change it to something more preferable. It doesn't have to be used with bad feelings of course, you can take a good feeling and increase the spin speed and colour of that, to increase the intensity of feeling.
Some people will be aware of more than one direction of movement, so you can just work with the one that seems strongest to them. The last person I did this with described their (bad) feeling as a dirty mushroom coloured spiral moving across their chest.
Just a hallucination of course - like so many things!
Take care
Andy
