It has as much chance of hypnotising you as a swinging watch does. Plenty.

If touching yourself as you say the word 'confidence' is all there is to it, then it seems to be missing a key ingredient of anchoring - that is that the other person is in state of confidence or feels confident about you.

What you have described is more akin to analogue marking.

Hypnosis has absolutely nothing to do with 'feeling tired'.

I know for a fact Jay's course will over deliver. I cannot comment on Don's but I have seen the videos, he has good knowledge and experience. If it was my money I would do HTG. You will thank me later if you do.

Robert Dilts work on what he called Neuro-Logical Levels might be a useful starting point, if I have understood your question.

In the UK it is considered 'complimentary', not 'alternative'.

Telling people about it does meet mixed reactions. Fortunately the majority of reactions you encounter do nothing to hinder hypnosis.

Maybe you should try a specialist interest forum. Hypnothoughts have many of them. I am sure you will find someone to help.
