28-month progress report

Postby Brokethehabit » Wed Jan 05, 2022 5:49 pm

Hello everyone, just wanted to post a quick update on how life is 28 months after quitting weed after 2 decades of use.
In a nutshell: no PAWS!
Timeline background:
- symptoms drastically ease up after month 13
- excellent sleep after month 16
- no waves for a long time now
Current status: no emotional issues, no dimness, no body aches, no brain fog, no brain buzz, blood pressure has been ideal for over 20 months now, absolutely no weed craving since day 1, no sensitivity to social situations or certian foods/drinks.
Hopefully I will have nothing new to say in the future!
Take care people!

Great news man! Would you say you feel ‘recovered’ or do you still feel off sometimes?

When was your last wave?

I'd say I am. I do not experience offs, nothing I would identify as PAWS-related.
The last serious wave was at month 13. I'd say it's been at least 6 months since my last wave-like episode.

Thanks for posting this! I'm currently on day 5 after 2 and a half years of smoking almost daily. Man do I feel bad! Awesome job with 13 months!

Hey Kickin,
Congrats on the quit!
These are the early days bro and there's a lot of suffering ahead. But none of this is wasted effort...you'll get through eventually. Life has enough challenges, nobody should make it worse by destroying themselves with addictions. Stay strong!
