Hi all. This place spontaneously popped up in my mind, and thought I'd post an update for any random strugglers who've come across my posts.
I haven't smoked weed since quitting. It must be 6-7 years now? Same goes for nicotine. Caffeine addiction continued, as did depression and anxiety. Eventually, got a diagnosis for ADHD and life has done a complete 180.
Abstaining from porn, videogames and being on a ketogenic diet makes a dramatic difference. Never underestimate the power of inflammation of carb/sugar consumption... which definitely lends itself to brain fog and DP/DR!
I hope this update post helps inspire and instil hope for those who are feeling hopeless. The most crucial ingredient to being better is the belief that you can (and the realisation that God exists within, not without). Love and peace to all.
