not comfortable

Postby cstark84 » Wed Apr 06, 2016 8:52 am

HI I'm new to the hypnotherapy thing. My husband and I went for the first time Saturday. I'm not sure it worked . My hypnotherapists kind of scares me he seems to be a little obsessed with me to say the least . My husband don't know anything that he said to him in the session where I remember everything . So my question is.. if I was uncomfortable with him in the room alone and was not able to relax can hypnotherapy still work?

If your hypnotherapist scares you, find a different one.

What Richard said. Being able to remember the session doesn't necessarily mean anything -- some people remember the sessions even when it is working. But if you're not comfortable with a hypnotherapist, that's going to hurt the process. Find someone else -- maybe a female hypnotherapist.

If you're not comfortable, definitely change your hypnotherapist because if you feel tense and unable to relax, the chances of hypnotism working is slim
