Re: taking some one into trance / conversational hypnosis

Be careful, Wiseman. Sheila wants to charge five million euros to teach this technique.

Are you Mark Wiseman, by the way? If so, I've seen you on reddit. You should spend more time on the /r/erotichypnosis subreddit. I'm sure everyone there would be interested in hearing from you.

Re: Cold Inductions - Street

Five million euros? What a bargain for such a valuable technique! Only problem is that all of my euros are tied up at the moment. My very good friend who is the Prince of Nigeria is trying to get me the money, but he needs one million euros to cover the transfer fee to get the money out of Nigeria. ...

Re: Help: telling the difference between somnambulism and sl

That's an interesting thought. I've had hallucinations on many occasions, usually immediately before and after sleep. I wonder if it was somnambulism. It might be the same state.

Re: Yet another "somnambulism" question.

You're probably right. I think I'm too influenced by Estabrooks, who believed that only one in five people was capable of somnambulism. I've definitely gotten amnesia in far more than one in five, so I tend to discount it.

Re: Help: telling the difference between somnambulism and sl

Well, in my case, I think I have trouble because of ADHD. If that's the case for you, medication may help. Beyond that, I don't know.

Re: Yet another "somnambulism" question.

Not covertly. I believe the CIA had some covert tests when they were doing the MK Ultra hypnosis experiments, but their tests involved medical equipment.

Re: Help: telling the difference between somnambulism and sl

Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to tell for sure except to see if the suggestions are working. Or I suppose you could use some sort of biofeedback monitor, and see if the results you're getting match the results you get when you're sleeping. That's still not 100% though, because the monitor n...

Re: Help: telling the difference between somnambulism and sl

Dave Elman, I think. The easiest way to tell if you're actually being hypnotized is with a "convincer"--something that you wouldn't experience if you weren't being hypnotized. My favorite is to have the subject forget his name. It works for pretty much everyone who's actually in trance, an...

Re: Looking for help with somnambulism/hallucination

Hallucinations are probably going to have to be trained. For most people, they do not come that clearly and vividly at first. You may have to train yourself to visualize, and you may have to train yourself not to disbelieve. If you're interested in learning to hallucinate, you should look up "t...

Re: Self Hypnosis help

It might not be a problem with self hypnosis. What you're describing sounds a lot like my own experience, except that live hypnotists don't have much effect on my either. I believe that in my case it's my ADHD holding me back, but I've heard people who don't think they have ADHD having similar probl...

Re: post hypnotic suggestions for reducing flaking - in pick

I'd say that as early as possible, you should say that your time is limited, and you'll have to leave soon. That makes you look important, and it also makes her less likely to invent a reason to leave, because she thinks you're about to leave. If she still says she needs to leave, she probably has a...

Re: post hypnotic suggestions for reducing flaking - in pick

Yeah, I think hypnosis could help you, but it's not the best thing you could be doing. Hypnosis enables you to fight an uphill battle, but it would be better for you to identify why you're not making a connection with these girls, and make it not an uphill battle. I'd suggest taking the conversation...

Re: post hypnotic suggestions for reducing flaking - in pick

Why is it that you want to trick someone into liking you? Why do you dress up for a job interview? Does having nice clothes make you a better person? Or does having better clothes make you seem like a better person, via the halo effect, essentially tricking the interviewer into liking you? Do you t...

Re: Stage hypnosis question

Unfortunately, I can't point you toward a book, because I'm mostly taking this from my own experience. I've never changed someone's belief before getting amnesia, but I imagine it's possible with some people. You could really look at most of what happens in hypnosis as some form of belief change. Fo...

Re: Stage hypnosis question

I think you and I are defining "hallucination" differently. If I tell a subject "when you look at your clothes, you will be unable to see them", that is a hallucination to me. The subject will resist that, because I'm trying to change their reality. I'm trying to convince them th...
