Her materialism makes me sick.

While I was at work, my girlfriend called and asked me to buy two plane tickets for that Ukraine ski trip. I wasn’t shocked at how demanding my girlfriend may seem. She has become like that since I pampered her with everything she wants. She often tells me to buys these and those. She has become a spoiled brat because of me and it makes me sick. I don’t want her to call me when she needs to buy something. I want her to come and tell me she loves me. I don’t want her to remember me when the latest version of Apple comes out. I want her to randomly give me a phone call because she misses me. I don’t want her to see me as a provider only but rather a real boyfriend. I want her to remember that I am her BOYFRIEND and not a sugar daddy. But how am I supposed to do that?

You taught her how to treat you. You gave her everything, she's gotten used to getting that from you, and now you don't know if you are loved for you or for your gifts. You are buying her attentions, but you can't even be sure that you also bought her love and affections.

The only way to find out is to put a stop to opening your wallet. Be prepared that she quite possibly will leave. Are you ready for that?

How experienced are you with women?

This is a tough one. Legally, ethically, and morally you must continue to buy her everything she desires, regardless of cost. You might need to get a second job. Still, nothing stops you from getting your name engraved on the material things you buy her. In fact, you might want to engrave your name and then put in quotes, “Your boyfriend, not your sugar daddy”. This way, every time she uses something you have bought her it will be a reminder.

Yes, that's the way it works.

I guess I am. I don't have a choice, anyway but to be ready. Thank you for this insight.
