You can read various books like, communication skills, business ethics etc.

You can check out the book on Basic Communication Skills on kindle / nook / kobo etc.

here is one of the 5 star kindle book name : COMMUNICATION : GOLDEN RULES FOR EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS: COMMUNICATION FOR BEGINNERS.

You can search by the name in kindle store.

It might help you improve your career.

There is a host of very good self help books out there.
Google - find - enjoy.

I also agree with some comments here, that real life experience trumps a lot of advice. On the other hand you can also combine these things.

But what I am gonna add is something different; Philosophy, not technically self help but interesting to develop your view on the world and yourself.

One of my favourite modern authors is Alain de Botton, try these two books:
The Consolations of Philosophy and Status Anxiety

all books are made to help. Just read any book on personal development and make it a habit to read books. It really helps
