Consider this desperate….
Did you know that frugivores are known to eat some meat?

“The diet of our earliest ancestors, who lived about six million years ago in Africa, was probably much like that of chimpanzees, our closest living primate cousins, who generally inhabit forest and wet savanna environments in equatorial Africa. Chimpanzees mainly eat fruit and other plant parts such as leaves, flowers, and bark, along with nuts and insects. Meat from the occasional animal forms only about 3 percent of the average chimpanzee’s diet.”
So if frugivores also eat some meat, what is the problem with you eating some meat?
Quietvoice pays farmers to kill animals so that she can eat 0% meat. She lets the dead carcasses rot, allowing her fruit to ripen without issue.
I agree with quietvoice that how we process modern meat is not ethical. But, this is a different discussion than whether or not eating meat is unhealthy. And given frugivores eat some meat, I think we can all agree meat eating is part of a healthy diet. Right quietvoice?
