Bad toilet training

Hello everyone, my name is Frankie and I'm wanting to know what people think about the way I was talk to stop wetting my nappy.. when I was 2/3 years old my mother light matchstick and burnt me on bum with it and apparently that stopped me wetting my nappies I'm 39 years old now and not really sure how I feel about it I never had much of a relationship with my mother as she was not very maternal, but do spend quite a bit of time together..

Obviously there are better ways to toilet train than using a match. And then of course there are worse ways to toilet train. Anyway, I suspect at age 39 this thread has little to do with a questionable memory that took place nearly 4 decades ago.
