Sibling Experimentation guilt is eating me alive

Postby Sb56 » Sat Aug 24, 2019 12:31 am

Okay so I’ll just get straight into this. So when I was about 10 possibly 11 I sexual experimented with my 4 to 5 year old sister. And I feel absolutely horrible about it. And it’s been now eating me up for 4 years. It’s like I can never shake the thought. And it just comes up randomly throughout the day. Like a annoying alarm clock. I now in the back of my mind think I’m a rapist or molester or something. Even tho I know I’m not, that’s all I can think. I’m 18 and I often feel depressed that I will never shake this horrible feeling of guilt. Like I can seriously feel it though my body. Im honestly so desperate for any help.

Read all of the similar threads on the subject, of which 100% of them will explain your feelings are normal. The topic has been covered ad naseum.

And no, your case is not somehow different or special compared to all the other threads on the subject.

No. Why? Because no crime was committed if both siblings were minors. Therefore there is nothing to investigate.

If you go on yahoo answers and different forums though they say it’s a big deal and police will be at the door

Then either:

-1- They are discussing an adult sibling molesting a minor sibling or;
-2- They have no idea what they are talking about.

I vote for the latter. All the evidence suggests people rarely involve the police, they just talk it out with a counsellor. And that's only the ones who are in any way upset about it. We can never know how many more just chalk it up to 'interesting' experience.

Besides, DavidJones56, is your main concern the guilt you feel over what you did, your sibling's possible distress -- or your fear of being punished for it?

Would police do anything at all if someone phoned them and said “at age 12 I sexually experimented with my 9 year old brother/sister ??

Trolling. Go away. The question has been repeatedly answered.

If you are not trolling and still can’t grasp the responses then you will just continue to suffer. Go seek professional therapy.

Either way. I’ve provided you the answer.

No I’m not a troll my friend but If you read candid’a answer above your answer she says it’s possible for police to get involved
