Now that was interesting. Implanting a memory. I wonder how it would effect someone if you implanted a highly emotional memory or a complete series of memories into someones past...and not the present like it was done in the article... and therby change a person´s history or what they believe to be their history?

It happens already, to some degree in "recovered memories" of child abuse and especially in cases of so-called UFO abductions. With the latter, hypnosis is often used, and there is usually a strong expectation by both the hypnotist and the subject that such repressed "memories" are there already, so it is much more likely that false memories will be manufactured and "discovered" by the participants.

This is what I suspect may be an example of hypnosis in the news...literally. First, let me explain that IN NO WAY do I buy into any kind of government conspiracy stuff, nor is this post in any way meant to provoke a discussion about politics (lest we forget the forum rules!).

Instead, what I want you to focus on here is what this guy is saying, and as you do that try to determine for yourself, based on your own knowledge of hypnosis and NLP, what it is this guy is doing. The video will explain the rest.

Sounds like they are just standing by the existing law but are making it easier to get a license. I don;t think insurance is mentioned in the article but having done three gigs is.

Prohibited actions will include .........any suggestion that the volunteer has lost something, such as a body part............

LOL. I don't think that was the spirit of the rules. They'd probably not mind gender swapping as long as they didn't believe they had lost something. A man, knowing he was a man, but in a woman's body might count, but a man believing he was a woman probably wouldn't!

The obscure precedent could be that no one can get a gig until they've done three...

The bit about missing body parts is in the act.

I have done a lesbian trapped in a mans body. Not sure if that is within the rules or not.
