bad panic for 2 weeks, will it subside

Postby nickki.e. » Wed Jun 02, 2004 2:50 pm

I have suffered from pa's for 11 years and just as i think they are settling down to just being an occasional blip in a nearly normal world here they are again 3,4,5,6 times a day. The thing i cannot seem to do is to de-stimulate my nerves and general anxiety can anyone help me as i'm due back to work on monday after a week off and the thought terrifies me immensly. Would anyone know where i could go to see a therapist, i live in high wycombe in buckinghamshire

Hi nickki.e

Sorry to hear about your panic attacks - they sound very uncomfortable.

Have you checked out this web site: http://www.panic-attacks.co.uk/ There is some great information for reducing the symptoms of the anxiety.

Here is a list of human givens therapists who are trained how to deal with anxiety quickly and effectively: http://www.humangivens.com/register/

Hope this helps,
Joe
