After few times being rejected, who wants to disappoint themselves?
People who involve more emotions on social life, they may get hurt really bad, and they are afraid that may happen again, and so they hesitate to do what hurt them on the past, so I suggest to people to not take the challenge too much seriously, to not make the challenge look too much important, to not invest too much emotions there...
the past may have wounded our pride, may have hurt us really bad or even make us believe " THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME... " you can see people on the forum how bad they think there is something wrong with them, however...
sometimes I see too many people who want to be diagnosed with DEPRESSION or something only to find it as an excuse for their failures and mistakes, and the members don't hesitate to tell them you are depressed, what is absolute wrong because you should not convince people there is something wrong with them rather they love it or not because it puts them on a cycle that doesn't help them live better but only adds another topic for them to search for answers, and the therapists should take responsibility or else people lose their trust on therapists like too many people already did...
Our stress, our fear, our hesitation is all normal and it is in all of us, just like we are afraid when we drive a car because we know the possibility of accidents and the tickets, but that doesn't mean to stop driving a car, neither to drive without being careful when you drive... and the social life is the same...
