Online anger management classes?

Postby KGM » Mon Sep 15, 2014 3:19 am

I've googled local anger management classes and have literally come up with nothing.
Not only is there nothing, but I don't have the time for that.

So I decided to google online anger management classes.... And that's even hard! I don't know what's decent, and most importantly , free.

Does anyone know of online classes or something similar I can take that are free? And that I can obviously do in the evenings when I might have a few minutes?

Hi KGM,

It's really difficult trying to deal with stuff like this when you don't have any time. There is an article that I really like that I wanted to link to for you but I can't post a link because I'm a new user. It's called "When Anger just wont go away", by Angela Prichard. You can google it. The website also has a lot of free resources that can help you with anger including ebooks that you can read at your own pace. I really leaned on them and still do when I get really angry.

My sister was yelling at and being a bully towards me up until a about five years ago, I guess. She met a man she wanted to keep in her life and she started to change. Only now do I have the sister I've so wanted all these years, but now I can't help but feel like all of the crap I've been keeping inside just wants to spill out all over her. My hatred for those years is still there. She now has a beautiful daughter, my one and only niece, and I wish I could be a part of her life but it's too effing painful to be around them.

Hey Trevis. Wow, that sounds intense. I think its amazing that you are able to look at the situation objectively and look into trying to see what you can do about it to have healthy relationships. Did you get a chance to read the article I mentioned in my previous post? It has a lot of helpful stuff in there. If you get a chance to read about it, what do you think?
