Do you know Turkish iskender kebap? It's sliced meat with tomato sauce and sliced pita. So delicious. I will not eat it for years maybe forever unfortunately..

You seem like an expert..may I ask if mayonnaise is healthy? I know it's unhealthy but is it on the certainly avoid list?

There are five cultural choices that were made over time that degraded man's health to the degree that we see it now:

-1- using fire to cook his food. This is the big one, because it leads to the next four.
-2- eating animals.
-3- eating food that man is not biologically adapted to eat (grains, beans).
-4- processing his food.
-5- using chemicals to grow food, and using chemicals in his food.

Where do you think that mayonnaise fits in this picture?

I think I will go crazy if I exclude all those 5 from my diet..what else to eat. I think that would make me sick. Just veggies and fruits.

Well, there's junk-food vegans, there's cooked-food vegans, and there's raw food vegans. Only not eating meat is not a cure-all if you don't address the other concerns, but it's a step in the right direction.

Maybe I must adapt eat to live don't live to eat principle in my life. But I just can't. Food is a very important part of my life.

Being a vegan then avoiding even cooked veggies..I think that's insane

I used to believe what we eat strongly effects what we are but lately I don't think so..I think food is not so important .

I think eating only raw fruits and veggies would make a person I'll. ..just my opinion..don't have enough info about good nutrition..
