Interesting post at subforum about thought broadcasting

I repeat the question, as I think especially hypnotists might want to know this perception.

How come that people that hallucinate voices and imagine thought broadcasting actually confuse personal pronouns.
So where someone normally thinks: ' I have to go and get my bike' someone thinks 'You have to go and get your bike ' .

Why would a patient change specifically these words in its imagination?

It often occurs for the first time after using marihuana but not necessarily.

Is it because the patient imagines people are talking to them? Or is the unconsious processing 'the way people talk towards you ' in a too generalizing way ?

Hi Hypnoboy.

I believe that when "One" grows up the unconscious mind is still developing so as a "Child" one could or possibly confuse their development as hearing voices. This is called unconscious processing. those whom are "Self aware" or are akin to their inner selves often hear in an audible way their subconscious patterning.

People talk to themselves all the time whether that is consciously or the unconscious audibly. They might say "You need to collect ....from school" or they might word it "Remember to collect ... from school" Both are unconscious reminding or bringing to front to the conscious awareness.
