Re: freaked out

Now, now Boys none of this quarrelling! [/quote] Heh, I’m still not following. What about “involuntariness”, exactly? Hey Jimmy the actual post on involuntariness actually came from Ahimsa Addressed to you on page 5 of this post. That is where my confusion came in I saw your name and presumed ...

Re: freaked out

Moonlightress & Richard. Sorry I was only trying to help. I suppose I can't call myself a Hypnotist either I just have some experience with it meaning I don't get "Paid" to do it. As for the Compounding comment... It wasn't for my benefit I know what a compounding suggestion is. lol. T...

Re: freaked out

Yes, Thank you Richard. Although.... He comes the "But" we haven't managed to persuade him to see that when "one" is hypnotised what the hypnotist says becomes their reality. So they do see the Number 6 as that was what was required of them. I am certain that I have specified thi...

Re: freaked out

Hi JimmyH. I hoped I was self explanatory. The quote in particular was a comment you made about "Involuntariness" when it comes to responding to suggestions given by the hypnotist and what is generally expected from the "subject/volunteer" The "Merging of two perspectives&qu...

Re: freaked out

Wow... Round and round we go.... This is getting off track rather. although I am finding JimmyH answers very interesting. However, on the point of social interaction how "ONE" should behave / respond when hypnotised varies.... There are no set rules that's what makes hypnosis interesting. ...

Re: freaked out

Ahmisa2 The whole point of a Stage show is too entertain. otherwise it wouldn't be a show. The role of a stage hypnotist is to look out for the 20% of the population whom are most hypnotisable. They look for the eager, willing participants. I thought you knew that. Admittedly I didn't like your link...

Re: freaked out

Thank you for the Links.. this is turning out to be a very interesting discussion. Ahimsa2. As I said at the top of this page not all Hypnotists are reputable hypnotists. I agree with Richard the point/reference to the Butcher. analogy. (nod)

Re: Post-hypnotism

Do you mind if I state the obvious? Moonlightress and JimmyH. I do find your discussions riveting. The unconscious mind be it all "Brain" controls your physical body. I thought that was a given. So when you are too hot it will reveal it to your conscious brain that has been pleasantly dist...

Re: freaked out

i guess a better way of stating it would be that your unconscious mind is in total control but you are not in control of your unconscious mind so are therefore are being controlled indirectly through it. either way, it seems to be a very disturbing state of affairs imo and not at all an entertainin...

Re: freaked out

the only thing i could accept (but most definitely not relate to) is that perhaps because the subject agrees to be put into such a state they are willingly tricking themselves into forgetting their name or how to count. perhaps moontress or someone else who has experienced it can comment on this. t...

Re: freaked out

thanks for joining in and sharing your experience moonlightress. as i said previously, i would certainly not consider being so easily confused in any way cool or fun myself. this is the aspect of mind control that really upsets me-that something so fundamental could be so easily taken away from you...

Re: Post-hypnotism

I'm really just a self-hypnosis subject and trance junkie, with a lot of curiosity. I came to hypnosis from some Simpson Protocol sessions with Ines Simpson (who uses an Elman induction) and my interest grew from there. I'm not a hypnotist and have no training, formal or informal, at all. Hi Moonli...

Re: Post-hypnotism

Hi Moonlightress, Wow! long post. Remember to Breathe hun. it's all in the Breath. I like your signature "Intention and Expectation" from that Are you more of the "Dave Elman" thinking approach or do you lean towards Ericksonian? From you posts I'd say you're old school am I righ...
