Heart Thumps after hearing sounds

Postby srikumar » Tue Mar 28, 2017 2:06 am

Hi Team,

I am 30 Male. Indian origin. I lost my father recently. I don't know if my dad's death is the reason for my condition.

But I have few issues with myself.I can see the lot on changes in me. My heart started thumping when I hear people talking loud and when the door bell rings. Do they tell anything? I am panicking a lot lately.

What are the natural ways of dealing this. Thank you

Regards.

Hello, It's a little strange what you say, Because usually, people, when a family member dies, becomes sad, has depression, anguish, but I've never heard someone say that they have problems listening to people and relate that condition to the death of their father, Perhaps it is a psychosomatic effect, Inside you are more introverted, passing a duel and maybe you are not very attentive to the outside world, maybe deep down, you are elaborating that duel, connecting with memories, reflecting on the things you shared with your father, and if your origin is The Indian, I imagine that you believe in reincarnation, therefore, surely you think that your father is in another dimension, looking at you, and wishing you the best

I believe in reincarnation, because I read several books on those subjects, Brian Weiss, is a psychiatrist who talks a lot about past lives and reincarnation, is a very interesting author

The best thing you can do is go to the doctor, to evaluate if it is something physical or something in your mind, and reflects the desire to not listen to anyone in the world and connect at this time with yourself, with your history, With your past, and heal your heart and soul for the loss of your father

You can cry too, you can let yourself cry, not because you think it's the end of everything, because the soul exists and now your father is somewhere else, but anyway it's a farewell

I believe it's some sort of a "mini" panic attack. Probably because of your father's lost. Try relaxing and feeling better about yourself. For me what worked best what taking up a hobby that I loved. It "filled the gap" I felt. If it gets any worse, see a therapist.

Srikumar,

You are experiencing anxiety. All you need is to meet a psychiatrist to take some medicines for immediate help.. You have lot of resources in this forum. Learn what CBT is.
