Hypnosis video clips

Cool vidoe's question the one where the girl is on the sidewalk with her friends and you have her put interlock her hand and then have the finger touch. Did you tell her you where a hypnotist. I would also thinka lot has to do with you have ac amaera there and they want to be on film.

Yes I told them I was a hypnotist. They were filmed in fact by two cameras.

1. They were acting because there was a camera there
2. It is easier to hypnotise someone if they want to be on camera
3. The best subjects are extroverts who like being on camera

I suspect you mean number 1.

The same question is often levelled at stage hypnosis - that those who come up on stage just want to show off and therefore are just playing along.

All I can say is I can assure you she was hypnotised not acting. If I wanted an actress I would have chosen girl 4th along.

Anthony thanks for your reply. No not acting. No I just meant that people will do pretty much anything there told if they know they are going to be on TV or on camera. Like a live show the host asks a questions and they repeat back exactly what the questions was and the ask follows. I my case my friend does not really want to do it. So I guess the results are not to good. I guess I get her into a trace but the PHS’s don’t’ work to well. I did and experiment. I did elmans. I entered a PHs and stated they will go back to this state after I say something like (I need to get the bird from the airplane). They nodded to confirm I mentioned it three times and left it at that. I waited 4 weeks and said the PHS she looked at me like I had four heads. I puzzled?

With the fingers test they do it with the eyes open. To use it as an induction rather than a test, the moment they touch, I say sleep and normally encourage their head to drop forward. Just prior to that when I know the fingers are moving and they are focussed I say, 'In a moment they are going to touch and when they touch you can allow your eyes to close'...As the finger test should only take a few seconds I try to time this so the sentane is finishing as they touch and then go straight into sleep.

If I then go into magnetic hands it is pretty similar except I normally do this with their eyes closed. By now they are trained to respond and kind of know where it is going, but with the eyes closed it is still a little surprise when the hands touch so, I just encourage 'slee' again and push the head forward if it is not going that anyway.

I then tell them to open their eyes but do not reorientate them by counting out or anything and then immediately go into a rapid induction.

My advice to you with regard to your post hypnotic suggestion is that you should have tested your work with other suggestions before you gave that one and certainly you should have tested the PHS after you woke her up. Test it a couple of times and if you really want to fire it weeks later tell her mind that is what you will do.

I've just realised my beliefs have changed.. I used to believe also that camera's made people more hypnotiseable.
Now i've read the studies i know its impossible to detect the variables that makes someone more hypnotiseable...
Obviously somewhere along the way hypnoattack changed that belief for me too

The camera doesn't affect hypnotisability but plays a small part in helping focus their attention. Not many people like looking at cameras, so having a couple of cameras in their face kind of hems in their attention on the hypnotist. It possibly buys a couple of kudos points for the hypnotist too.

Certainly helps pull in a crowd. Next outing let's get a boom mike!

Thanks a whole lot. So the other suggestions would be when I snap my fingers you will be a chicken and when I say sleep you will return back to this state fast and deeper than the time before. Then deepen then give the New PHS, OK I tell her, now when I say the words (I need to get the bird from the airplane). you will return back to this state fast and deeper than the time before. Two more time and then. How should I say it WHEN I SAY THESES WORD or I WILL SAY (I need to get the bird from the airplane) weeks from now and you will return to the state you are in now deeper and faster that the time before. I then wake her up and test it when she just comes out?

ALso can you just help a little more with the rapid induction you talked about you said (then tell them to open their eyes but do not reorientate them by counting out or anything and then immediately go into a rapid induction.) what’s the rapid induction you use. It Has to be fast on the street.

This was the first rapid induction I did and it has never failed me. I learn it from a great book called Training Trances and have adapted it a little to suit my style.

Essentially you show the subject how you will take them into a trance, then go over it again, so it is clear, then once more just so they can really learn the steps, then...

Keep going. You never get to the actual induction. I find three of four rehearsals is all that is needed. I like it because it is quite permissive but rapid and results in a nice position of leverage - they have eyes shut and arm cataleptic.

you can actually see hand levitation in a few of the videos. Often it is the first actual phenomena I go for after the induction. I do this during or after deepening.
