Anxiety Over Choking

Postby emjschu » Wed Oct 04, 2017 4:24 pm

Hello.

About a month ago I had an experience where I had food caught in my throat and it felt like I couldn't swallow it and I couldn't breathe. This happened to me twice, two days in a row. Since then I have not been able to really eat well. I steer clear of solid foods unless I take really tiny bites and chew for a long time, but sometimes it is still difficult for me to swallow small bites and I notice myself starting to panic sometimes during those swallows.

I tried hypnosis twice, and I was really open to it, but for some reason it hasn't really worked for me. I have no idea what to do--I can't go on like this forever not being able to eat normally.

Does anyone have any advice?

Some things need to be done without thinking about it ,

A centipede thinking about every step he makes, thats just too much to think of, but its done naturaly

Dont focus too much how you eat,

Think about how did you eat when you was a kid what was you focused on

There is a powdered food drink mix called Soylent. I have the same issue and I am using Soylent while I figure out how to permanently get rid of this.
