Need help

Postby dethe » Sun Dec 20, 2020 5:02 pm

I’ve tried listening to hypnosis recordings a few times, and while I sometimes do feel really relaxed as the recording intends, I keep running into trouble with my eyes.

It’s hard to describe, but when I’m being hypnotized I can never relax my eyes, there is always stress that just reminds me it’s not working. I try to ignore it and get past that feeling, put it always seems to break my concentration or prevent me from going deeper.

Does anyone have any advice on the subject? Are there previous posts that could help?

Do you have any eye issues?

Generally speaking, it reminds me of meditation. When I meditate, all sorts of body feelings come to my mind that distract me from my practice. If its not this, its that, so to say. Solution comes with practice.

As for hypnosis, it can work, but maybe if its not working the issue is not your eyes, but the hypnosis itself. The question is what do you want to achieve?
