Whats the reason behind the recent deterioriation of my mind

Postby desperate788 » Tue Feb 01, 2022 2:54 pm

My mental health is deterioriating once again some mind confusion and thoughts that reminds psycohisis i just noticed today.
Whats the reason?
1. I increased the time i spent at office
2. High dose antidepressant
3. Lowering dose of zyprexa..but its just 5 mg
4. Evolving of my natural psycosis disease
I think its 1 and 2, what do you think?

Not the world's best.
Helping people successfully with mental health issues is never easy. I will add a few thoughts:
(1) You state you're employed. That's a positive point. It suggests you can function and at least earn an income.
(2) When you post, I assume we all pick up the idea of someone letting out frustration. You don't tend to clarify any specific goal - which must be to "manage" your anxiety and depression.
There are some good ways to combat depression and anxiety. Jogging or cycling is what I use in moderation. Even diet helps and alcohol is best avoided.

And specifically, my view is drugs don't help long term. Yoga and aerobic exercise plus relaxation helps more.

Antipsycotic drugs shouldnt certainly be dosed by patients. But i think antidepressants can be. İ just dont know what caused this recent instability of my mental health. İts not very serious but May deterioriate. İf i can understand the cause it would be easier to manage. And my question was to learn your ideas to tane suitable precautions. İ think my post was Clear.

So i must deal with my anxiety and depression to control my psychotic symptoms. This makes me think an anxiolytic drug may help with my psychosis. Also an antidepressant too hence one of my points. But we must consider an adrenalin damaged brain ( very seriously) and how it will react to drugs. For insanca if there is no seretonin flamingo what will drug 8nhibit reuptake off? So your conments?

I'm not a psychiatrist. Psychiatrists prescribe drugs to treat psychological disorders.
I do study psychology. Psychologists tend to use therapy to treat conditions, hypnosis or relaxation. Psychologists explore the causes of a disorder.
My take is you need to find a good psychologist in your own area. Here, we can advise in that area but we can't substitute direct therapy.
I answer your question here as I was myself very unwell for many years. And what helped me get better was self knowledge.

-1- There are no experts on this board for you. That is you being the idiot. Note, I’m not saying you are an idiot. I’m saying trusting this board for your mental health decisions is ignorant. It’s idiotic.

-2- No one on this board has sufficient knowledge of your ongoing issues and mix of medications to provide high quality advice.

Stop using the board as a substitute for the advice of your doctors.

That has nothing to do with the prescription medication and medical advice you repeatedly ask for. It is an idiotic thing to do. No one on this board is a licensed doctor or has any idea of your personal medical use of prescriptions and other treatments.
