I would assume that whenever he tells you he is doing something it is misdirection. Could it be done? With an audience that size, I would say most definately yes.

Also right after you see something like a film it's very hard for you to remember what happened in it until a short time after.

Thanks Markus. The best part of a group of 300 people were egging her on to 'punch him' and 'kick him' but did not manage to break through so I suspect clsong here eyes and imagining would not have helped. That is what got her in that position in the first place.

HypnoAttack is an underground collective of hypnotists and mentalists - a few of whom frequent this forum. HA visits neutral towns and events, hypnotise volunteers for research, amusement and personal skill development.

Some typical HypnoAttack inductions are featured on my youtube channel.

Look for any clips prefixed with 'HypnoAttack'.

The first batch of clips feature well known hypnotic 'tests' used as selection procedures, set pieces and inductions. The handshake induction usually follows the set piece.

If you have any questions about them let me know.

Enjoy

In the last one, you did push the guy forward, right? XD

Anyway, they were interesting. So, really Street Hypnosis is like stage hypnosis but without the stage?

LOL. No he fell forward. If you look closely I am holding him up, there is no push. Sometimes it seems people take the instruction 'fall into a deep sleep' literally. I do not say it often.

He was stuck to the pavement a few minutes later so it was all good.

lol, I suspected that you didn't push him XD Well, I guess that proves unless the Hypnotist is strong enough to hold a falling person Hypnosis can be dangerous because it may involve a face full of pavement XD

Thanks Ping. If you are ever in the UK you are welcome to come on a HypnoAttack outing.

Yes the handshake can be done without a test. As you can see I tend not to use the 'test' as a test but as an induction.

Ant, great videos, A real joy to watch!

Did you have a total success rate and did you give any pre-talks with the members of public?

Great Job!

Thanks Daniel - it was a fun day out.

As one of my hypnosis teachers puts it, I had a 100% success rate with everyone I hypnotised.

The answer is no not everyone I approached got zapped but the majority did.

With impromptu hypnosis I refer to the pre talk as the set up and emphasise in my training that sometimes it needs to be accomplished in a few sentances, sometimes in a few seconds. But yes with most of the people who stumbled into a hypnoattack that day I got permission or should I say their interest in being hypnotised. But certainly no lengthy pre talk, just permission, a couple o fsentances to blow away a myth or two then straight in with what you see on the tape.

I have just started a blog regarding impromptu hypnosis and will post up the link as soon as I have enough material on it to warrant doing so.

Nice! I found a really brilliant spot to practice a few Handshake-Inductions on the Public, so as soon as i build up the confidence i'm off! Ha!

Also, have you published your book yet Ant?

( I remember a few people talking about it ).
