Help please! I was recently hired as a Marketing Agent. Honestly, I don't feel that I am suited for the job coz I'm the shy type of person. I remember that whenever we have recitations or public speaking activities at school, I get nervous all the time. Literally, my heart was pounding and my hands were shaking and wet! lol. Going back with my job, I have no choice but to accept this one coz it's quite hard to look for a good one now. Most of the salary offers I got from other companies were below my expectation. I am not choosy but I really need a good income to help my family as well. So that is the reason why I accepted the Marketing Agent position. They told me that I will undergo some seminars and training but until now, they're not yet giving me any feedback. So now I'm planning to do if by myself. I'm looking for an online course or training that could enhance my communication skills. If you can share me some good sites then great. Thanks for your time.

It sounds like someone saw something in your ability to speak publicly, or you wouldn't have been offered the job. Now, it's time for you to gain the confidence in yourself! I had the same problem in the past and found a video that helped me tremendously. PM me if you want the link, as this site won't let me add it to this post.

You also can't do PM's until you've had 30 posts. You can post the link if you divide it up in some way, e.g., thissite (dot) com. I'd like to see the video that you've found helpful.

It's a YouTube video, so go to their website with /watch?v=rATOfWe3n2w at the end of the address. It should take you to a speaker's training video that helped me a lot! Hope it helps you!
