I am reading a book called:
"Secrets to Winning at Office Politics: How to Achieve Your Goals and Increase Your Influence at Work"
Somebody maybe have read it? Currently fininishing 7 chapter.
I can already give some comments on it. The most lacking thing is those questions where you have to answer yourself, but you do not know the answers. WHat can you do then? For example:
Identify the specific power situations that may cause you to make power mistakes. Do you get frustrated in meetings and react aggressively? Do you get easily intimidated by managers and give in too quickly? Do certain people just seem to activate your unhealthy power reactions? Determine how you will handle these situations differently in the future. Practice these behaviors until they feel comfortable.
How will I handle these situation differently in the future? I do not know - book should tell lets say I get frustrated while talking with my teamleader 1 on 1 when he get angry. So what should I do in the future? No idea
