Merry Christmas

Postby Cthompson21 » Fri Dec 25, 2020 8:32 pm

Just want to wish everyone a merry Christmas and happy new year. When you have addiction and or PAWS the holidays can be a challenge and with me they have been in the past but with the pandemic it can feel even worse. Just want to say if anyone needs to chat reach out. Wishing you strength and prosperity in the days ahead.

I came here for the same reason. Merry Christmas everyone. Thanks CT for bringing the cheer. I’m glad to know this community is here. I was feeling a bit anxious and regretful last night, knowing this will be the 2nd Christmas feeling anxiety / paws, but also glad that this Christmas feels better than the last one, and that I’m becoming a better person over time. I hope everyone feels support and kindness over the season. Lots of love and support to you all.

@desperate thank you @PAWSsurvivor I understand how you feel, this hard living like this but we are survivors. The holidays bring extra stress and seem to make PAWS symptoms worse for me every year. But I think of all the obstacles in the last year I've overcome and think wow, I did that, and I can face another day and a new year. Best to you.
