Hi

I'm a hypnotherapist and have been practising for about 4 years. In my view the only reason hypnotherapy is not suitable is if the client has a history of Psychosis or serious mental health issues otherwise anyone can benefit from it. The best idea would be for you to do some online research and find a couple of local hypnotherapists and either speak to them on the phone or in person for a short consultation. Most will offer this for free and it gives you the opportunity to ask them questions and vice versa and most importantly decide if you like them.

Best wishes
