my girlfriend broke up with due to her depression

Depression makes people feel, angry, confused and pissed it can make them hurt others with out knowing and when the do know they feel worse because they can't do anything to stop themselves. I think its the best for now until she learns to deal with it.

Has anyone gone through something like this before and can tell me how it turned out?

I'm going through something almost identical with my fiance right now. I intend to give her some space but stick around and occasionally remind her that I love her and that I am here for her for as long as she needs to recover.

I see that this thread was made 2 years ago, would you mind shedding some light on what ended up happening?
