Worried about my breathing

Postby Mathew Amschler » Tue Nov 05, 2019 6:04 pm

Hey Everyone. I’m a 21 year old person who has high functioning autism and I’ve been having really bad anxiety. I first got it in 2017 after my grandfather died from C.O.P.D but that was only grief anxiety. From September to October for 12 days i fell into a downward spiral, I had a hard time sleeping, I lost my appetite, nervously vomiting, and have had bad thoughts going through my head. And a couple thoughts where I think I’m going to die. It did stop a tiny bit but then it returned back last Friday. I feel really bad for those who are also going through this as well. What should I do next? I Hate to have it as a routine (thanks for taking your time and reading this and have a great day)

Go out and get involved in life. Take some risks. Join some clubs. Volunteer. Interact with other people. Get off the Internet. Get active in participating in a wide variety of projects. Fill your life with different goals.

A person worried about breathing typically has too much free time available. The person typically has a comfortable bed, plenty of food, electricity and lacks for no basic necessities. This gives them too much time to think, to surf the Internet, and to become less than fully engaged in life.

Not being engaged creates a vicious downward spiral as individuals lose self confidence, become anxious, and then retreat further into isolation.

As a person becomes engaged they don’t have the luxury of time to think about all the mental monsters out there. The same will work for you. Stop thinking and start doing.
