How can I ask to hypnotize my friends without sounding weird

Postby Newtist » Sat Apr 15, 2017 9:19 am

Recently I went to a friend's house who I don't get the chance to hang out a lot with for the day and I planned on trying my hypnosis skills out on him to practice as he is a close friend. However, throughout the day I was scared to ask him to practice with me because I didn't want thw offer to sound awkward and weird when I asked? Please tell me how I can overcome this so next time it's not a problem?

you can always say: " Hey whatevername, i just saw this psychological trick care to try '' and go from there into a an induction or a suggestibility test (if there is such a thing, but that another debate).

just re-phrase it into something else.

reality turnout to be plastic which is quite irony if you think about it.

You could first explain to him how hypnosis is very dissimilar to the common view (waving pocket watches and zombified men), and explain how it is a real therapy used by professionals. You could also explain the benefits of hypnosis Then tell him you are practicing yourself, and wondered if he was interested in being a subject. By this point he probably wants to try it anyway.

I would suggest that honestly and explanation is the best way forward.
