Commitment issues in practically everything I do

Hi, how you doing?

I'm progressing well in my process of (assisted) self-healing.

And I've stumbled upon an issue that I couldn't find an answer in the resources at my disposal, maybe you could help me?

I've noticed that I can't commit completely to being or doing something.
It's not really about the problem where I can't keep my declarations of commitment "I'm going to do this exercise program for 30 days!!" (which is still occasionally a problem).

It's more about when I try to do something in the moment, I can't completely commit myself to the moment and be 100% there with who I'm with or whatever I'm doing.

distraction is a problem, but I think It's more that I can't find the "channel" to completely engross myself 100% into what I want to be doing.

I've improved my results by trying to employ my body movement, assisting my commitment to the moment by exaggerating and emphasizing with my body as the situation dictates, for example - if I do breathing exercises then I breath with my entire body hands (to "guide the air in and out"), head(to "help pull the air"), etc - acting like they also in on it.

But I still can't completely achieve presence, and I wish someone here could give me a tip about how can I do it in a better way or if I'm lucky someone who knows how can I practice being 100% into and inside whatever I'm doing.

Thank you and have a nice day!

Hi I'm the opposite (it's good and bad) I focus on 1 thing for instance if I'm working on a project my diet sleep housework relationships etc pretty much everything else in my life suffers. Not fully committing isn't necessarily bad it has benefits. Now there's no point committing to a 30 day excercise program your putting stress onto yourself unnecessarily and setting up for dissapointment. Basically If you have no expectation there will be no dissapointment. It's only important you have the courage to try in the first place. Just by starting the excercise program your allready a success from there just do your best and see what happens. Have you heard the saying 'the hardest part is just making a start' from there it just gets easier. Sorry for over explaining it I hope its helpfull

If you still want to fully commit to something this is worth a try. Say I want something for example a v8 car I have desire for the car but not enough to do all the overtime to afford it. I focus on how much I want a v8 and how much fun it would be, how many girls will want a ride etc. When my desire is strong enough then I can fully commit to work all the overtime. Basically if you want something bad enough it won't even be difficult to 100% commit. Increase your desire enough and you will easily 100% commit

I just can't shut up about this lol if I said to you I'd love a v8 or I want a v8 or I'd like to have a v8, you can guarantee I'll never own a v8. If I said 'I'm going to get a v8' you can guarantee I will have a v8. If you can say to yourself 'I'm going to do this or be that' you will know you want it enough to commit. 'I'm going to' are powerful words. U can have anything u want or be anyone u want u simply have to want it enough to make it happen
